Easy Homemade Korean Curry with Pork(any meet) & Vegetables

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
- Pork (any meet, any cut) 500g
- Potatoes 7 (about 900g)
- Carrots 2 (about 300g)
- Onions 2 (about 300g)
→ Recommended: caramelized onions for deeper flavor - Curry powder or curry blocks 80–100g
- Salt 1 tsp (5g)
- Black pepper 1 tsp (5g)
- Water 800–1000ml

🔪 Preparation
- Peel and wash potatoes and carrots.
- Cut into even cubes (2–3cm).
👉 Tip:
Cut one flat side first for stability when cutting round vegetables.
- If using fresh onions, cut into similar size cubes.
👉 Size guide:
- Eat immediately → smaller pieces
- Reheat later → larger pieces (prevents breaking)



🥩 Prepare the Pork
- Cut pork into 2–3cm pieces.
- Season with:
- 1 tsp salt (5g)
- 1 tsp black pepper (5g)
- Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes

Pork shoulder or pork neck provides richer flavor for Korean Curry.

🍳 How to Make Korean Curry
- Add 800–1000ml water to a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Add pork first and cook for 3–5 minutes.
- Once boiling again, add potatoes, carrots, and onions.
- Cook for 10–15 minutes until vegetables are fully tender.
- Add 2 tbsp caramelized onions.
👉 This step makes your Korean Curry deeper and slightly sweet.

🍛 Add Curry (Important Step)
- Remove about 200ml hot broth into a bowl.
- Add curry powder or curry blocks.
- Mix completely until smooth (no lumps).
- Pour back into the pot.
- Stir for 2–3 minutes until evenly combined.
👉 Always add curry at the final stage for best texture.

🔥 Adjust Thickness & Taste
- Simmer for 5–10 minutes
- For thicker Korean Curry, add more curry
- If needed, adjust salt in small amounts (1–2g at a time)
